D&N Design

My small business, D & N Design, could never have been able to do what it is now doing without Speedsoft's help.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the folks at Speedsoft for several years of good service. The web hosting services Speedsoft offers remain one of the best buys available --- the bang for the buck is simply remarkable. I will continue to recommend Speedsoft to clients and colleagues looking for bargain-priced hosting and gold-standard customer service.

You helped me out awhile ago when one of my clients was having trouble with their email. They have two locations, and I set them up with a W2K hosting account on your server. They were having trouble sending email from one location to the other. You jumped through a lot of hoops trying to solve the problem, but it ended up being a problem with one of their ISPs.

Thanks for your help; I don't forget.

SSL Certificate

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) allows for secure, encrypted data to be passed via the web between our servers and the viewer's web browser. SSL requires that the server have a Digital Certificate which is purchased from a third-party company which basically certifies to the viewer that you are who you say you are. This Digital Certificate can be a considerable expense.

There are several options available now for SSL certificates. The two most popular are the basic SSL certificate and the EV certificate. Both offer secure encrypted transmission of the data between the client and server.

The basic certificate displays a blue bar on the browser along with the lock symbol.

The Extended Validation (EV) certificate increases consumer confidence with the knowledge that the company has been validated by the issuing company. It displays a longer green bar with extended information available when the bar is clicked.
