This page contains vital information that everyone needs to know to successfully manage their email. Even if you are an email veteran or you've used other email services in the past, please take a moment to review this page. The information here will be useful to email users at all experience levels. Managing Your Email Accounts The first thing you need
to know about managing your email, is where you go to make changes to your accounts.
To make any changes to how your email is set up you need to access your Control
Panel. To do this go to http://www. From the Email Settings screen you can manage all aspects of your email, including email forwarding, POP email accounts, and Autoresponders. Click on the links in this paragraph for more information, or continue reading this page for more email basics. Your Default Email Forwarding Account Believe it or not, you
don't have to do anything to get email addresses at ***Important*** If you would like to change
the address to which your Default Email Forwarding Account forwards to, go to
the Email Settings portion of your Control
Panel. When the Email Settings screen loads, look for the Mail Forwarding
section (near the top of the page). The very first field under Mail Forwarding
is where you can change the address that your Default Email Forwarding Account
forwards email to. You can change this to any valid Internet email address.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Mail Forwarding section, and click on the button
labeled "Change" to save your changes.
Put briefly, The Master
POP Account is an alternative to your Default Email Forwarding
Account. You might choose to use it if you don't have an email address that
you would like to use for your Default Email Forwarding Account, or if you would
just rather have your unconfigured email addresses sent to a POP box.
To activate your Master
POP Account, simply remove the forwarding address from your Default Email Forwarding
Account. (See above.) By removing the default mail forwarding address, all mail
addressed to your domain can be retrieved from the Master POP Account rather
than being forwarded.
When you retrieve email
from the Master POP Account, the popID and password are the same as your account
userID and password. If you create additional POP email accounts, do not
to use your account userID for any of them because it is already taken by the
Master POP Account. For more important information about using POP accounts
see POP Email Accounts and How
to Configure your Email Program. |
