Virtual Hosting and Virtual Server clients may purchase their own digital certificate or use the Speedsoft digital certificate. Win2K hosting clients must purchase their own digital certificate.
1) What is SSL encryption?
As an add-on feature, Speedsoft offers secure socket layer (SSL). This allows a browser to communicate with your site in a secure SSL encrypted session. It is often used to securely transfer credit card numbers and other sensitive information.
2) What is the cost for this feature?

3) Can I order encryption after my account has been setup?
SSL can be added at any time to your account by emailing support@speedsoft.com.
4) How long does it take to setup encryption?
Speedsoft will activate it as soon as we receive the request.
5) How do I activate SSL?
If you use the Speedsoft digital certificate:
You will need to place any pages you want to use SSL on the speedsoft.com main server along with any CGI's that require SSL.
If you use your own digital certificate:
In order to activate SSL you simply change the URL to read https instead of http.
