Showtime.pl is a Speedsoft written CGI which will display the current date and/or day on any SSI parsed web page. It is run as a Server Side Include (This means you have to run the page as .SHTML rather than .HTML unless you have your site setup to parse HTML files, too). The Auto Installer will install the necessary CGI named showtime.pl into your cgi-bin directory and also an example HTML file named showtime.shtml which has the server side include code in it for you to copy and paste into any HTML page on which you want it displayed.
This package comes with 2 files. Below is a brief summary of them:
- showtime.pl - The Perl Script.
- showtime.shtml - SSI HTML file with the code included to display the date.
Auto Installation
Make sure you are on the same server as your web site:
