Go right to the Auto Installation section

The Backroom Data Manager is an accompanying script to the Formmail.pl script if using the "Save data to separate files" option. The Backroom Data Manager will allow you to view, print, and delete data files via your browser. You can password protect the directory the script is run out of using the server's .htaccess/.htpasswd method if desired.

There are two files included in the backroom package. Below is a brief summary of them:

backroom.pl - The Perl script which does the processing.
backroom.txt - A detailed explanation of the setup of the script.

Auto Installation

Make sure you are on the same server as your web site:

User Info

Enter your username and password (same as your FTP and email)

Virtual Hosting Accounts

Virtual Hosting accounts, enter your domain name here in the form "yourdomain.com".
Domain Name:

Install Location

Enter the directories for installing the scripts. Default is in a subdirectory of your cgi-bin directory named protected. It is highly suggested that you install the script to a password protected subdirectory below the cgi-bin directory.

Script Directory:
cgi-bin//backroom.pl

Backroom Options
